WITH demand for hand-crafted work as strong  as ever, I take on a wide range of unique commissions. Retaining a strong interest in traditional skills, I enjoy working with hand-ground inks, pigments, gold leaf and vellum. I arm myself with a tin of sharpened pencils, antique drawing instruments and hand-dipped pens with vintage nibs.

I came to London from Maine a long time ago, just after completing a degree in History of Art at  Mount Holyoke College. After starting up as a freelance calligrapher in 1994, commissions have gradually expanded to heraldic art, manuscript illumination and illustration.
